At the end of 2010, I promised myself that I would treat myself by redecorating my kitchen in the New Year. Well, I began painting the walls a couple of weeks ago (a nice, light meadow green colour) and although it started to look better than it did previously (dirty, chipped, canary yellow walls…) almost immediately, there was still a particular something about the kitchen that bothered me.
Then it dawned on me what was bothering me. Well to be accurate, it was 2 things.
My fridge freezer had not been in great working order for a while and was hardly the epitome of contemporary style. This meant that I decided that it was time for a new one. I actually chose to buy 2 appliances to replace my fridge-freezer when I stumbled across a gorgeous and sleek selection of chest freezers available to buy online.
The extra space that a chest freezer gives for freezing food is really very convenient and now that I have gotten used to it, I really like having my refrigerator and freezer separate from each other. I was even happier to locate a black and chrome Beko refrigerator to compliment my new chest freezer! These two black appliances look great against the new green decor.
In addition, washing machines have rarely been made to look particularly stylish but lacking laundry room, I had no choice but to keep the kitchen as the habitat for my machine. The solution I cam to was to have a model from a selection of integrated washing machines put in place so that I only have to look at the white plastic eye sore when un/loading the machine.
